Meet Our Design Build Process
Initial Contact
When you contact our office, we listen and learn; then, we collect your basic contact and project information from you to schedule an appointment for an initial consultation and/or site visit.
Consultation
We anchor all consultations in active listening, observing, and learning. During this initial conversation, we get to know you, we walk your property with you, listen to your objectives, discuss possible landscape feature sets, and gain a better understanding of your vision for this outdoor space as well as your budget, timelines, or opportunities.
Project Proposal
Within several weeks we will meet with you a second time to provide you with a customized and detailed proposal for your property. Every design build proposal includes a series of hand-rendered and/or computer generated drawings that will help you to visualize your landscape project.
We will provide you with a complete description of your project, our budget projections, and additional project/material recommendations that will help you finalize your project details.
An important piece of this process is your feedback - we want to know what you’re thinking and how best we can support your decision making process.
Final Project Plan
Based on you and your feedback, Terra Green will develop the final project plan and schedule. These documents make your vision a reality, guiding the actions of our project managers and installation teams.
When necessary, Terra Green will also secure the necessary approvals and permits from the appropriate utilities and government agencies, so that you do not have to worry about that part of the process.
Master Plans
Landscapes today are all-inclusive outdoor living experiences that are equipped with pools, outdoor kitchens, wet bars, fireplaces, fire pits, landscape lighting and soothing flowing water features. They often require a master plan. Our goal in master plan development is to provide the customer with the opportunity to experience design choices that are available and create a beautiful, functional environment that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations for your outdoor living spaces.

Design, Build, and Installation FAQ
When we provide our customers with design services and are awarded the contract to complete the project, there are no charges for our designs. Should you choose to not follow through with the project our design service charges are billed separately to the property owner.
Yes we will work with you to set a realistic budget for your project. This helps us determine where to best deploy your money on your landscape.
Yes we can design and construct just about any outdoor structure you would like to include in your landscape.
We require a deposit before we begin work on your project. Upon completion of the work, all balances must be paid in full.
We offer an wide array of product and service warranties that are dependent on the scope of your project.
